In Safe Hands

In Safe Hands provides an array of shelter services for HPD Emergency Shelters and DHS Homeless Shelters throughout New York City, which includes Case Management, Housing Relocation Services, Shelter Management, Security Services and Community Service.

CASE MANAGEMENT

Our Case Managers conduct thorough assessments for shelter residents and develop an independent living plan for each adult resident, which entails helping them receive their maximum public assistance benefits, assisting with employment searches, providing resource referrals, developing a sound financial plan and aiding them in their search for permanent housing.

HOUSING RELOCATION

Our Housing Relocation Specialists have extensive experience with real estate brokerage, supportive housing, and legal issues, which enables our Housing Specialists to educate and empower residents in their search for permanent housing.

SHELTER MANAGEMENT

Our Management Team oversees hundreds of residential units and provides rapid corrective response action with any home service needed. We have maintenance and management staff on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to provide quick and helpful action in response to any home service requests.

SECURITY SERVICES

In Safe Hands employs New York State licensed security guards at Emergency and Homeless shelters throughout New York CIty.

COMMUNITY SERVICES

In Safe Hands works with community based organizations like Harlem Children Zone, New York CARES and the Migdol Family Foundation to provide resources and services to the Harlem community.
